Me Myself and I and Poetry Poetry 10:38 pm
As I was going through my old stuff and such, I found this poem that I wrote a while ago. And since I’m a bit depressed, I thought of sharing it with you.
After all, aren’t we all living in one melancholy town?!
Autumn breeze in a windy day,
willow leaves in twilight.
Silhouettes fading as the night breaks,
making me forget what I am today.
Snow flakes amidst a field of bids,
slowly paling as my hopes gone dead.
Memories of childhood and first love lost,
like a forgotten soldier to war is led.
Winter rain came to wash our sins,
forgiven, forgotten, and cruel.
An owl screeching in the night’s haze
flying over my hero’s grave.
In the Melancholy Town we bury
our memories and sleep.
No lights just whispers,
murmurs a lullaby through a weep.

1) Lool, yeah I hope we both get out of this mood soon. And thank you.
2) The problem with this theme is that it doesn’t have the header option, hopefully I’ll manage to bring it back.
3) I’ll do it as soon as possible. Thanks.

“Cite for them the example of this life as water that we send down from the sky to produce plants of the earth, then they turn into hay that is blown away by the wind. GOD is able to do all things.” ~Qur’an [18:45]
Hope you’re alright

You have the blues too?? I feel usually like this on the weekends, maybe because I have free time and it makes me think about stuff, family and home and I get really withdrawn..

I certainly hope the dark mood had passed and you’re feeling better..
I like the “Flickr photos” you have , absolutely classy and beautiful

Well I can relate to that as well; I often feel down in the weekends and such, and when I’m having a free time and has got nothing to do.
I can say I’m slightly feeling better now, thanks.
Well m2adameen.

Now Jasim, do u have any idea how rarely do i get to read poems written by men?!
That was so nice.
Don’t let it something from the past…hit the key board and maybe and the blues will fly away
Inshallah all will be good…smile

It seems everyone’s got the blues nowadays.
Well I’m flattered.
You know something, in my life, I think the blues will never fly away! ~sigh~.
Anyway, Inshallah all will be good, thanks a lot Rasha.
